Harland began their brewing operations in this Scripps Ranch location and opened it to the public as a tasting room in October of 2019. They currently have three other tasting rooms across San Diego.

Number of Taps
- 11 beers on taps when I was there, although their on-line listing showed 16 the next week, so some may have run dry on a Saturday
- 73% of the beers were IPAs
A Little Help From My Friends
- Harland serves collaboration beers from brewers across the US, such as Boulevard (Kansas City), Pedal Haus (Tempe), and Tripping Animals (Miami).
For the Couch
- A large cooler has 4-packs to go, including their Camp Beer American lager. They also fill growlers.
The Space
Indoor Capacity
- Harland has two large rooms with many tables and stools at the bar for seven. The brewing tanks are visible from all areas.
Outdoor Space
- A wood deck outside a roll-up door on the building’s north side has tables and rails with some shading
Food Service
- Harland hosts a pizza truck on Wednesday through Saturday and a taco truck on Sundays and Mondays
Exit Through Gift Shop
- T-shirts, hoodies, hats, towels, water bottles and more are available for sale
The Scene
Harland’s brewery is located in a business park, but adjacent to the large Scripps Ranch neighborhood that borders Miramar on the other side of the I-15, so it draws a large weekend crowd

- Live music events on some Fridays, and occasional Doodles & Drinks drawing events. Check their event calendar.
- Trivia contest on Wednesdays
- TVs for sports viewing around the room

- Harland has three coin-operated bar-size pool tables and a few arcade video games
